Sintra<\/a>\u00a0is one of the romantic and mysterious places in Portugal with wonderful palaces and landescapes that enchant the tourists.<\/p>\n

To understand\u00a0Pena Palace<\/a>\u00a0and the beautiful Gardens sourrounding the Palace the tourist have to see the opera Parsifal…Parsifal<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0is an\u00a0opera\u00a0in three acts by\u00a0Richard Wagner. It is loosely based on\u00a0Parzival<\/em>\u00a0by\u00a0Wolfram von Eschenbach, a 13th century\u00a0epic poem\u00a0of the\u00a0Arthurian\u00a0knight Parzival (Percival) and his quest for the\u00a0Holy Grail, and on\u00a0Perceval, the Story of the Grail<\/em>, by\u00a0Chr\u00e9tien de Troyes’.<\/p>\n

Parsifal is one of King Arthur’s legendary Knights of the\u00a0Round Table, you can find the Round Table in the Pena Palace Gardens.<\/p>\n

Wagner’s spelling of\u00a0Parsifal<\/em>\u00a0instead of the\u00a0Parzival<\/em>\u00a0he had used up to 1877 is informed by an erroneous etymology of the name\u00a0Percival<\/em>\u00a0deriving it from a supposedly Arabic origin,Fal Parsi<\/em>\u00a0meaning “pure fool”. Playing with words…<\/p>\n

Remember the most important it is not inside the Pena Palace but in the Gardens and the Castle of The Moors.<\/p>\n
